Randy founded Sunburst Financial in 2005 with the goal of offering financial advice in a very different way. After many years in the financial services industry, Randy cultivated his belief in the importance of constructing financial plans based on each client’s individual and unique perspective; their own story! Using the personal and unique life stories of clients as the foundation of their own financial plan, Randy and his team have developed a distinctive method of financial planning that matches each client’s financial resources, to the client’s own ideas and goals of what their plan should be.
Randy is a graduate of Mississippi State University and the Southern Trust School at Springhill College. He holds a Master of Arts in Counseling- Marriage & Family from Liberty University. Randy retired at the rank of Colonel in the Mississippi Army National Guard. He is married to his wife Cecile and they have three children; Catie Marie, Darby, and Connor. Randy and his family are long-time members of Dawson Baptist Church. The Martins support Briarwood Christian School Student Missions, Reformed University Fellowship, Good News Ministries of Birmingham, and Adopt A Golden of Birmingham.
